HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Sweden Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Thani organized a high-level meeting, through visual communication technology, about the pivotal role of women in political life, the importance of Qatari women's participation in the upcoming elections of the Shura Council to contribute to political decision-making, and ways to benefit from the Swedish experience.

The meeting was headed by First Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag (Swedish Parliament) sa Lindestam.

The meeting was attended by a number of Swedish parliamentarians including, Cecilia Widegren, Linda Lindberg, Eva Linde, and Anne Beret, and from the Qatari side, HE member of the Shura Council Dr. Hind Al Muftah, Director of International Labor Relations Department at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Sheikha Al Khater, consultant at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Sweden Tamader Al Mulla.
