Qatar’s envoy receives Special Edition of Bronze Medal in Paris

On the occasion of the Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic H E Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani received a copy of a bronze medal that was issued by La Monnaie de Paris from President and CEO of La Monnaie de Paris Marc Schwartz.
Two copies will be deposited in the French National Library and in La Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint), which is in the context of the activities of the Qatar-France Year of Culture 2020 which ensures a smooth communication and dialogue between the French and Qatari peoples amidst the rising COVID-19 pandemic.
This has also ensured a very fine contribution in enhancing cultural exchange between the State of Qatar and the French Republic by hosting numerous cultural events in mutual partnerships. La Monnaie de Paris is the oldest French national monetary institution, and it still runs and operates today.
