QC honours main supporters of its ‘Dal ala alkheer’ initiative

Qatar Charity (QC) honoured the supporters of ‘Dal ala alkheer’, an initiative that contributes in promoting its project through social media platforms. This comes as part of QC’s winter campaign ‘Warmth and Peace’, in recognition of the efforts and work of the initiative’s supporters.
During the ceremony, Mr. Abdulaziz Jassim Hajji, Director of Customer Service Department at Qatar Charity honoured the top ten supporters of the initiative, awarding them with charity shields.
The top list of honourees are as follows: Mr. Yusef Muhammad Yusuf Al-Mutawa, Ms. Aisha Al Abdul-Ghani, Mr. Muhammad Al-Khanji, Mr. Nasser Ghanem Al Fahid Al-Hajri, Ms. Noura Hamad Abdullah Al-Marri, Mr. Ayman Fowzi Abdel Moneim, Mr. Muhammad Ali Saleh Al Safran, Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Ali Al Saadi Al Yafei, Mr. Abdul Rahman Tayis Abdullah Al Jumaili, and Mr. Saad Muhammad Ali Al Ghanim, respectively.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Jassim Hajji expressed his thanks and gratitude to the supporters for their contribution to the initiative. He stated that QC periodically launches new seasons in permitting to compete in spreading the word of doing good. He signalled that the competition takes place in sharing the links of charitable projects through social media to encourage others to donate and contribute their best during the season in order to increase the number of beneficiaries.
 
Hajji also mentioned that the points are collected for every donation that comes through a link a person shares, and once enough points are collected, he or she will be included in the list of honourees and will be gifted a charity shield.
Some 274 people took part in this initiative, which was concluded in mid-February, sharing 3,750 posts that donated to raising more than one million Qatari riyals. The number of hits on the published links reached 63,553, with the WhatsApp topping the list of social media platforms, in terms of use.
The honourees, who showed their happiness with the honour, said it is a generous gesture from QC and will inspire them to offer more support and strength to the initiative.
It is also worth highlighting that the initiative was launched by Qatar Charity in the year 2016 to allow people to promote and ameliorate its projects through social media platforms.
