QFA President receives Ambassador of Dutch to Qatar

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), received H E Marjan Kamstra, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Qatar.

Saud Al Muhannadi, Vice President of QFA, and Mansour Al Ansari, Secretary-General of QFA, were also present during the meeting that was held at Al Bidda Tower.

The visiting Ambassador lauded the vital role played the State of Qatar on the sporting front and acknowledged the rising status of Doha as sports hub of the region.

She also commended on Qatar’s leadership for its journey to organise the 2022 FIFA World Cup, stating that the country must be proud to stage the region’s first ever World Cup.

During the meeting, they discussed various ways in reinforcing the means of cooperation between the two sides in different sports sectors.
