QFA takes part in WAFF Financial Committee Meeting

Qatar Football Association (QFA) took part in the first meeting of the Financial Committee of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) which was held via videoconference.

Qatar Football Association was represented at the meeting by QFA Secretary-General Mansour Al Ansari.

During the meeting, the Committee ratified the financial statements of the recent past and future years, and reviewed the financial condition of the Federation and the estimated budget for 2021.

The Committee also reviewed the decision of the Executive Office of the Federation during its last meeting related to imposing financial fees on the federations participating in the futsal championships, in order to cover the costs of the tournaments as they are not subject to the support provided by the International Federation and have no financial allocations. In this regard, the Committee agreed to a recommendation that authorizes the Chairman of the Finance Committee to set fees for each tournament when the hosting association is determined.
