QFFD ships urgent medical supplies to fight against Covid-19 in Iran

On behalf of the State of Qatar, the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has shipped nearly 7 tonnes of medical supplies to Iran in order to help the country in restricting the further spread. 
Earlier, QFFD transported nearly two tonnes of medical supplies to Iran through an air bridge from Qatar Airways by joint efforts with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Iran’s capital – Tehran. 
 
This urgent medical relief comes in support made by Qatar as part of its efforts to curb the spread of deadly disease in Iran. 
All of the medical assistance provided by the state of Qatar to different countries and nations comes under the frame work of its efforts taken in order to limit the spread of the ongoing pandemic, which represents a mutual threat facing to the countries across the globe and based on joint international responsibility, as this help confirms the State of Qatar’s position in supporting the brotherly and friendly countries, and to ensure that with these relief aids they will be able to overcome the current crisis.
