According to the latest weather report by the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), fresh to strong northwesterly wind is liklely to occur during the weekend. 

Friday and Saturday will see minimum and maximum temperature that varies from 32 to 44 degrees Celsius.

The weather forecast reported that the wind is likely to vary from 17 to 27 KT gusting to 40 KT at times, particularly on Friday and Saturday which will cause blowing dust and low visibility to less than 2 km during the daytime. QMD also stated that the wind speed will decline slowly by the evening time. 

In its official twitter account, the QMD said:"The country is expected to be affected by dust mass between Friday dawn, June 11 and Saturday, June 12." 

A marine warning of strong wind and high sea is also highly expected until this Saturday wherein the wave height will vary from 4-9 ft and exceeding 12 ft at times. 

The meteorological department has therefore called out to the public to be careful during this weather condition over the weekend in Qatar.
