QMD : Brace for six-degree jump in daytime temperature until Saturday

The Qatar Meteorology Department has said the daytime temperature may rise by up to 6 degrees, reaching mid-30s especially in southern and central areas of the country between Wednesday and Saturday.
Chance of scattered rain of variable intensity and Partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected to continue. The scattered rain might be accompanied by thunder as well.
Wind is expected between 8 to 18 kt mainly Easterly to Northeasterly ranging, reaching 25 kt during rain, causing high waves ranging between 4 and 6 feet and it may rise up to 10 feet.
The Met department issued warning to the public to be careful during the rain, which might be accompanied by sudden strong wind.
