QMD: Region expects dusty and windy conditions on Thursday

According to the latest weather report by Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD), many parts of the region is likely to undergo dusty and windy weather conditions on Wednesday.
 
QMD has warned that strong winds and poor visibility is likely to be witnessed in few areas during the daytime on Thursday, in addition to the windy weather conditions and high seas in offshore places.
 
 
The wind speed may go up to 35 knots in some inshore areas during the daytime and 32 knots offshore at times, as the sea level is expected to rise to 11ft.
 
 
QMD in its detailed weather report also warns about the weather conditions as it is expected to range from "hot to very hot" and slight to blowing dust is also likely to be witnessed in few areas during the daytime, while slight dust is likely offshore at times.
 
 
QMD in its official twitter account said that the AlBawarih winds will continue to blow "from fresh to strong in some areas", and their speed will decrease slowing during the evening time. QMD also issued a reminder of the continued strong winds inshore and offshore during the weekend.
 
 
Also, the temperature for today is likely to vary between 26 and 45C in Wakra and Mesaieed, 32-44C in Doha, 31-42C in Al Khor, 31-37C in Abu Samra, 34-36C in Dukhan and 33-35C in Ruwais.
 
 
QMD has called on all the citizens and resident in the country to avoid direct exposure to sunlight in light of the hot weather conditions on Thursday.
