QNB Ranks First in MENA Region in The Bankers List of Top 1000 World Banks

QNB Group continues to lead the Middle East and Africa ranking on the "Top 1000 World Banks" list, the largest and most important edition of the year in "The Banker" magazine.

QNB was ranked first in Qatar and the region with Total Assets rising 9% to $282 billion from December 2019, which placed it on the 79th position in the global ranking.

 

This evaluation comes by analyzing each banks strengths and weaknesses through eight categories: growth, profitability, operational efficiency, asset quality, return on risk, liquidity, soundness, and leverage. The performance category weightings are all equal and are prepared to analyze every bank in comparison with other Banks.

Founded in 1964, QNB Group was listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange in 1997. Its authorized capital, paid-up capital and total number of subscribed shares are 9 billion, 236 million, 428 thousand and 570 riyals. The number of tradable shares is 4 billion, 616 million, 214 thousand and 860 shares.
