QND parade reflects unity and patriotism with magnificent display of national pride

Front-line health warriors in the fight against Covid- 19 were honoured as they marched ahead of the military parade and sincerely applauded by the His Highness Amir as well as His Highness the Father Amir and all those present on the occasion.

The Qatar National Day 2020 parade on the Corniche, today morning, in the presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and other dignitaries reflected unity and patriotism with magnificent display of national pride and military might.

The event that followed strict pandemic protection protocols was also attended by several VIPs, dignitaries and special invitees, especially family members of front-line Covid-19 workers.

Healthcare warriors who are at the forefront of the fight against Covid- 19, were honoured on the occasion as they marched ahead of the military parade and were applauded sincerely by the His Highness Amir as well as His Highness the Father Amir.

Patriotic fervor mixed with national unity and pride rent the air throughout the hour long parade open only to invited guests.

The army, navy and the air force, once again, like every year awed the spectators.

The ariel display by the air force was an amazing sight to behold.

The entire Corniche area was covered in maroon and white adorned in large flower beds in the shape of the national flag decorated with flowers with the pleasant weather and greenery against the blue waters of the Arabian Sea added a touch of colour and captured the amazing aura of the celebrations attracting the complete attention of all present.

At the end of the QND parade, His Highness the Amir walked along the Corniche street interacting with people and smilingly waving to all those present.
