QSE Index Drops 0.16 Percent in June

The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended last June's trading, with a decrease of 17.58 points, or 0.16 percent, to reach 10,730.68 points.

Trading value during the June accounted QR 8,669,091,229.135 and the trading volume reached 3,453,925,706 with 199,801 transactions.

Market capitalization accounted QR 622,394,993,494.080 as compared to QR 624,421,235,139.100 at the end of June.

Banking and Financial Services sector increased 12.34 points (0.27 percent) to 4,507.85 points and Consumer Goods and Services sector dropped 115.75 points (1.41 percent) to 8,100.23 points.

 

Industries sector gained to 44.73 points (1.26 percent) to 3,586.88 and the Insurance sector down 70.34 points (2.63 percent) to 2,606.39 points.

The Real Estate sector lost 139.34 points (7.35 percent) to 1,755.43 points. The Telecom sector added 16.24 points (1.53 percent) to 1,076.23 points and Transportation sector dropped 46.55 points (1.37 percent) to 3,359.62 points.

From the 48 listed companies 13 ended this month higher, while 35 lower. (QNA)
