QSRSN hosts virtual workshop on art’s significance

The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN) hosted a workshop on the significance of art in our day-to-day lives, in which a group of people with disabilities, media professionals, community activists and special education specialists attended.
 
The workshop, which was held through a video conference technology, aimed on a set of axes, including the meaning of art and its impact on society, and its vitality in children’s lives, and dealt with the impact of art on human life and its role in refining behaviour and improving and giving a better mental health, especially for individuals with disabilities.
Chairman of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani lauded the distinguished attendance and the great interaction with the workshop, which comes within the activities of the foundation’s awareness and rehabilitation held virtually in line with the protective and preventive measures set by the State of Qatar to fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
