Felix Sanchez, the coach of Qatar national football team, on Friday announced a 30-player squad for the preparation camp ahead of the Concacaf Gold Cup in the US in July.

Squad: Saad Al Sheeb, Mishaal Barshim, Mahmoud Abu Nada, Youssef Hassan, Pedro Correa, Abdul Karim Hassan, Tariq Salman, Ahmed Suhail, Musab Khader, Bassam Al Rawi, Hammam Al Amin, Boualem Khoukhi, Mohamed Waad, Asim Madibo, Karim Boudiaf, Jassem Jaber, Ismail Mohamed, Abdullah Al Ahraq, Abdullah Marafi, Abdel Aziz Hatem, Khaled Mounir, Akram Afif, Hassan Al Haydos, Sultan Al Buraik, Abdul Rashid Ibrahim, Hashem Ali, Youssef Abdul Razzaq, Moez Ali, Mohamed Muntari and Ahmed Alaa.

The Qatari team is participating in the Gold Cup after qualifying for the 2023 Asian Cup in China, after defeating Oman 1-0, scored by Hassan Al Haydos from a penalty kick, in its last match in the qualifiers to raise the team's tally to 22 points at the top of the group.

Qatar participates in the Group D of the Concacaf Gold Cup along with Honduras, Panama and Granada.

The Qatari team faces Panama on July 13, Granada on July 17, and Honduras on July 20.
