Security officials continues to patrol commercial complexes to curb Covid-19

The head of Ehteraz cell at the National Command Center, Lt. Col. Massoud Jamaan al-Qahtani, said that security officials and authorities over the coming period will be taking the same approach in defeating the virus just like they have been doing since the start of this epidemic.
 
During an interview with Qatar TV on its “our lives” program, he said: “There will be mobile patrols to make sure there are no violations of precautionary measures, and there will be foot patrols in coordination with private security personnel in commercial complexes, to make sure that the status of people entering these complexes in green.”
 
He stressed that those who violates the mandatory precautionary measures, will be reported and then will refer them to the public prosecution. 
 
 
He further explained that all the indications shows that our approach is towards the right direction and has resulted in declining the cases of Covid-19. He also mentioned that Ministry of Interior has a conviction that restricting this disease is a collective responsibility, and that integration of the efforts of the state and individuals is essential to curb the further spread of the virus.
 
As the second phase of its gradual lifting of the restrictions began on Friday, he added that, “Starting today, weddings will be allowed, and we call on everyone to abide by the precautionary procedures and allowable numbers, social spacing and take all measures to ensure that we do not go backwards.”
