The Department of Meteorology reported today that Qatar has a settled and hot weather during daytime with slight dust becoming mild at night. It added that wind is northerly light to moderate and expected wave height ranges between 2 to 4 Ft rises to 5 Ft at times in northern areas.

The weather official also stated that wave height ranges between 2 to 3 Ft according to latest observations with no expected warnings in Qatar in the coming two days.

Yesterday, Qatar had a mild evening and temperature ranging between 28-31 C with northwesterly wind moderate in speed.

Local authorities call on all members of the society to stay at home, only leave the house when necessary, and maintain social distancing  to ensure their safety against the coronavirus (Covid-19) disease. It also urged the public to adhere to the compulsory implementation of wearing face masks and downloading of EHTERAZ Covid-19 tracker when leaving the house as hefty fines and imprisonment will be charged to perpetrators.
