Sheikh Joaan Crowns Al Arabi Champion of HH the Amir Handball Cup

HE President of Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani on Saturday crowned Al Arabi team champions of HH the Amir Handball Cup for the season 2020/2021 after winning over Al Rayyan 30-27 in the final held today at Duhail Sports Hall.
HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani awarded the championship cup and gold medals for Al Arabi, and silver medals for Al Rayyan.
This title is the second for Al Arabi after they won the 2018/2019 season.
Al Arabi qualified for the final after defeating Al Khor 31-24 in the quarter-final, and Al Wakrah 36-20 in the semi-final, while Al Rayyan qualified after defeating Al Ahli 31-28 in the quarter-finals, and Al Gharafa 29-22 in the semifinals. (QNA)
