Sports Ministry launches three-week ‘Youth Support’ summer programme

The Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Culture and Sports announced the launch of a three-week ‘Youth Support’ summer program for 2021, from June 27 to July 15.
 
The program aims to create job opportunities and train Qatari youth in the youth sector during the summer activity period, by refining their skills, preparing and training them to start their careers, especially in the field of youth work.
 
The department said that the tasks that will be assigned to those accepted are related to following up on the implementation of summer programs and activities for the Youth Affairs Department, preparing events, communicating with trainers and those in charge of implementing programs, preparing reports on activities and evaluating them, and presenting development ideas for youth projects.
 
 
The department will also organise a quick preparatory program for the participants that includes introductory lectures and workshops on the ministry’s vision, plans, and objectives of youth centers. It will organise lectures on youth initiatives and introducing youth activities and program and their implementation with the required quality and means of advertising.
 
The department will provide incentives to the participants, amounting to QR2,000 as an appreciative reward, in addition to joining the Youth Ambassadors Program to support and obtaining many special privileges.
 
The Youth Affairs Department called on Qatari youth wishing to participate in the program to register during the period from 17 to 24 June. 
 
The registration is done by filling the form at the following link: http://bit.ly/Lad3amYP. The applicant must be from 18 to 22 years old, not an employee of any entity, and a member of one of the youth centers or sports clubs, where the first 20 applicants, 10 male and 10 female, who completed registration and met the conditions, will be accepted.
