The state of Qatar, represented by General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, participated in the 122nd Meeting of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) Bureau which was held via video conference.

The State of Qatar was represented by  President of General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority and member of executive board of ISSA, H E Turki bin Mohammed Al Khater.

During the meeting, a number of issues and activities related to ISSA were discussed, the most important of which was the discussion of the Secretary-General’s report on the implementation of programs scheduled for the year 2020/2022, the report of the technical committees and the budget of the year 2020 and a number of topics on the agenda. 

It is worth mentioning that the State of Qatar, represented by the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, was elected as a member of the Executive Board of the International Social Security (ISSA) for the period 2020-2022 during the 38th session of the Council, held in Brussels 2019.
