State of Qatar takes part in Arab Health Ministers' Council meeting

The State of Qatar took part in the 55th session of the Arab Health Ministers Council, which was held on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly in Geneva through videoconferencing on Sunday.
 
The virtual meeting dealt with reviewing numerous significant topics, which includes the draft Arabic strategy for obtaining (Covid-19) vaccines, the mechanism for carrying out them, unifying efforts to make sure that equitable provision and distribution of vaccines to Arab countries along with the health conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories including East Jerusalem and the occupied Syrian Golan. 
During the meeting, they also reviewed the draft Arab strategy for a health-friendly budget and the Arab Council for Health Specialties. The Decision of the Ministerial Council for Tourism No. 290 on supporting the re-launch and revitalization of the tourism and travel sector in the Arab countries, the establishment of the Executive Office of the Arab Health Ministers Council,  as well as the draft unified address of the Arab Health Ministers Council prior to the 74th session of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization.
