Team Qatar Qualify for Quarterfinals of Cancun Hub 3rd Event

Qatar's duo beach volleyball pair Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan have qualified to the quarterfinals of the 4-stars FIVB Cancun Hub - 3rd event.
The Qatari team qualified after defeating the Dutch duo Steven van de Velde and Christiaan Varenhorst (21-17 and 21-18) in the match that took place today within the tournament's Round of 16.
The Qatari team will play against the Brazilian team later today.
Team Qatar won two silvers in the 4-stars FIVB Cancun Hub - 1st event and 2nd event, achieving a leap in the global rankings. The team now rank in the tenth place with 5080 points, according to the classification updated on April 27 by the gam's international federation (FIVB).
