The champions of Table Tennis continue their winning streak in WTT Star Contender

The WTT Star Contender table tennis competition saw a host of the game's stars continue dominating with their performance in Doha.
There were 219 participants who played in the tournament with strict preventive methods that followed by implementing a bubble to restrict the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). The ongoing table tennis tournament will conclude next Saturday. 
 
Dimitrij Ovtcharove (ranked world no. 12) and Quadri Aruna (ranked world no. 20) defeated Ahmed Salah and Morizono Masataka respectively for 3-0 and 3-1 to reach the round of last 16.
In a related news, President of the Qatar and Arab Table Tennis Federations Khalil Al Mohannadi, who is also the Deputy President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), welcomed all attendees of the ITTF ranking officials meeting that took place in Doha on the side lines of the WTT Star Contender competition.
