Grand Mosque Tour of Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhaab Mosque

The national mosque of Qatar is the largest in the country and has a magnificeint architectural design with a huge fort-like appearance and dozens of domes on its roof. It is quite the state-of-the-art moque in the country. At night these are illuminated white, and from Doha's tall buildings can be seen on the horizon for miles. The mosque has capacity for 30,000 worshippers in its grand white prayer hall, covered with red carpets and lit with simple chandeliers. Souq Food Tour by Embrace Doha

Mal Lawal 3 - Celebrating collectors in our community

Mal Lawal (‘of the past’) is an exhibition that, since 2012, has showcased an incredible range of local and regional collectors. This third edition focuses on 26 Qatari general collectors and two Qatari car collectors and their collections.

Mal Lawal has evolved into a platform that transcends museum walls to record local heritage, enhance collecting practices and promote the collectors and their knowledge across Qatar. Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar 2021

Qatar Museums inaugurated Tasweer Photo Festival Qatar on 24 March, with a dynamic and interconnected programme of exhibitions. The inaugural festival will feature the Sheikh Saoud Al Thani Awards, commissions, collaborations, presentations and workshops that draw innovative international photography together with photographers and photographic communities in Qatar and the Western Asia and North Africa (WANA) region.

Established by Qatar Museums under the leadership of its Chairperson, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and sponsored by the Social & Sport Contribution Fund (Daam), the festival builds on a commitment to nurture artistic talent, develop Qatar’s arts economy and support creative industry. M7, Qatar’s new hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative industries, will serve as the central location for Tasweer. Dates: 24 March to 30 March
