Make your weekend fun and exciting with many events that can be done virtually by making it interesting and no less than the usual fun just like every other weekend. As the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases are declining slowly in Qatar, let us make sure that we completely help in dropping the active rates in the country by having safe and fun weekend by taking part in various virtual events and following the mandatory precautionary methods imposed in the region.
 
1. Al-Saa’im Al-Sagheer 
 
 
This Program is an annual Ramadan activity that focuses in educating kids on the significance of the holy month of fasting as an academy for developing various areas in the Islamic faith. Ramadan Roundup with Ilyas & Duck” is a daily online animation mini-series and will help children guiding them through their self-awareness and self-improvement during the holy month. This virtual event will take place until May 11 at 4 pm.

2. Drawing contest  
 
 
 
Drawing contest for all adults and kids will be held online until May 16. 2021 throughout the day. Individuals taking part in the drawing contest and the lucky ones will get gratified from Kahramaa Tarsheed Qatar! National program for conservation and energy efficiency. 3. Virtual #BigBMeetUp 
 
 
BigB MeetUp is a community initiative that was founded by Bosco Menezes. The aim of this initiative is to inspire, inform, educate and spread the news of the good deeds that each person and groups of people perform in their day-to-day lives. Take part in this weekly virtual #BigBMeetUp every Saturday, 08:00 pm on YouTube/Facebook Live.

4. Chef of Qatar Virtual Food Festival 
 
 
This fun initiative includes all the brilliant chefs in Qatar’s top restaurants and the chefs will be sharing their stories and ideal signature cuisines to bring the global palates to your doorstep. So why not make a tour around the world from your own comfort zone and order exclusive 3-course meals made by the best chefs via talabat app. This virtual event will take place till May 12 2021 and the cost of 3-course meal is QR 200. 5. Programming Artificial Intelligence for Children
 
 
Marwen Hjiri, an AI specialist and scholar, will guide your children in this online event through a step-by-step workshop to learn the basics of programming for artificial intelligence in a fun and interactive way by using graphical tools. Register today as the online event is scheduled to take place on 8 May, 2021 from 12 pm to 1 pm.
