Three Food Outlets Closed After Surprise Inspection by Qatar Authorities

Two restaurants and a cafeteria in Al Nasr area were ordered yesterday by the Doha Municipality to close for failure to follow precautionary measures implemented in Qatar for coronavirus prevention.

 

 

Officials conducted a surprise inspection on the food outlets in the area, according to the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a statement. It was initiated by the municipality's Health Monitoring Section.

The said establishments commited nine violations, including failure to provide health certificates for food handlers.

A total of 230 vehicles carrying food items from and to Industrial Area were also inspected by the  local authorities to adhere to health directives.

Al Sheehaniya Municipality inspectors, yesterday, also initiated an inspection campaign on food outlets. They distributed brochures in multiple languages.
