TT players Secure Tokyo 2020 Spots in Doha -1-

The President of the Qatari and Arab Table Tennis Federations, First Vice Presidents of the Asian and International Table Tennis Federations, Khalil Al Mohannadi, conveyed his happiness with the immense organizational success of the series of table tennis tournaments in Doha in March, lauding the distinguished technical level of the international and Asian qualifiers, that were organised at the Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena for one week.
Al Mohannadi said the successful organization affirms the capabilities of the State of Qatar, which has conducted the longest series of various events throughout the history of the game, which reinforces Doha's position in organizing major sporting tournaments.
He mentioned that the guests of the matches and heads of federations have commended the distinguished organization of the sports event.
Al Mohannadi expounded that the health bubble was very successful and it ensured that preserving the safety and wellbeing of all participants, as the tournament competitions did not record any COVID-19 infection among the players or the rest of the participating delegations. He also conveyed his congratulations to the players who made it for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
