Two Individuals arrested for violating home quarantine rules

The competent authorities on Monday arrested two individuals who were found guilty of violating the requirements of the home quarantine, they were asked to following, which they are legally accountable for, in accordance with the procedures of the health officials in Qatar.
The individuals were arrested after the safety measures of the preventive methods were kept in place imposed in the country, approved by the designated officials represented in the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), to restrict the further spread of the COVID-19.
 
 
The individuals who violated the quarantine requirements are currently being referred to the public prosecution. They are:
 
1- Hashem Manikout Kyulutra.
2- Salem Ali Jarallah Al Ghafrani Al Marri.
 
The designated officials urged all the public who are undergoing home quarantine to fully commit to the MOPH’s condition, to make sure that they are safe and others as well.
The officials also said that anyone who violates the quarantine will be subject to article no. 253 of law no. 11 of 2004, provisions of law no. 17 of 1990 on communicable diseases, and law no. 17 of 2002 on protecting society.
