3 Planets to Approach Moon over Qatar sky during April

Qatar residents and all Arabic countries residents will have a good chance to seeing and observing three planets (Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) of our solar system on the dawn sky during April 2020, moreover, these planets will be approaching Moon at different times during April, and it will align to the Moon over Qatar dawn sky. Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.

The giant planet "Jupiter" and the planet with beautiful rings "Saturn" will approach Moon on the dawn of Wednesday, April 15, 2020, where Saturn will be at 2.5 degrees northern Moon's center, while Jupiter will be at 2 degrees northern Moon's center.

 

 

 

Qatar residents will have a good chance to seeing and observing Saturn and Jupiter with the Moon with naked eyes over the eastern horizon of Qatar dawn sky from the time rise of Saturn till Sunrise time, where the time rise of Saturn will be at 12:51 Am, while Jupiter will be rise at 12:31 Am Doha local time. Astronomer expert at QCH Dr. Beshir Marzouk said.

On the dawn of Thursday, April 16, 2020, the red planet "Mars" will be close to the Moon, where it will be at two degrees northern Moon's center over Qatar dawn sky.

Moreover, Qatar residents will have a good chance to seeing and observing Mars and Moon together with naked eyes or astronomical telescopes over the eastern horizon on Thursday from the time rise of Mars at 1:27 Am Doha local time till the Sunrise time at 5:11 Am Doha local time. 

On the other side, the brightest planet "Venus" and the new crescent of Ramadan will illuminate over evening sky on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Qatar residents will have a chance to see Venus and the new crescent of Ramadan for three hours after sunset. Dr. Beshir Marzouk added. 

These astronomical phenomena are very important because it is guiding for amateur astronomers to know the map of the sky during this month, moreover, validate the astronomical calculations.
