Telegram, a popular instant messaging app, has managed to gain a lot of traction in the past few months. To improve the overall user experience on the app, the company has released a slew of new features including auto-delete, expiring invite links, more emojis, and others.

Let’s first talk about the expiring invite links feature. Telegram states on its blog that invite links are a quick and easy way to bring 1 or 1 million people to your groups and channels. The owners and admins can now also create additional links with a limited duration, a number of uses, or both. There’s also a new invite link feature where any invite link can be converted into a scannable QR Code to put on everything from brochures to billboards. The telegram app will also allow users to see which users joined using the invite link to find where new members came from.

Moving on, Telegram has released new animated emojis, which is awesome because the more emojis there are, the better the overall fun is on the app. Telegram states that a new update always means new animations, so users can now enjoy more emojis. Another feature auto-delete messages allow users to delete messages for all participants in a conversation at any time, without a trace. Users can now also enable an auto-delete timer in all Telegram chats, which will automatically erase messages for all participants either 24 hours or 7 days after sending.

There’s also a ‘Home Screen Widgets’ feature that will allow users to add a Telegram widget to your home screen. For instant access to your most important chats, add a Telegram widget to your home screen. The Chat Widget shows a preview of recent messages, while the Shortcut Widget shows only names and profile pictures.
