WhatsApp Might Soon Launch A Playback Speed Feature For Android, iOS Users
WhatsApp, a popular instant messaging platform, has been experimenting with a slew of new features. Now, there are reports that WhatsApp is reportedly testing a new feature that will allow users to control the playback speed of audio messages.

The playback speed feature will be released for both iOS and Android users. The feature has been first spotted by WABetaInfo, a popular website that pushes regular updates around new WhatsApp features.

Apart from the playback speed feature, WABetaInfo also reported that WhatsApp users will soon be able to view Instagram Reels within the app.

In another WhatsApp-related news, it was recently reported that WhatsApp is working on bringing password-protected encrypted iCloud backup to the platform to help secure user chats.

Although WhatsApp already supports end-to-end encryption for exchanging messages and pictures, the chat backup feature is not secure on both Google Drive or iCloud. Because of this security loophole, it becomes easy for hackers to exploit the platform and user data. This is why WhatsApp plans to bring password-protected encrypted iCloud backup to WhatsApp.
