A plane has crashed and caught fire at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Philippines on Sunday, killing all eight people onboard.

Manila International Airport Authority said the accident around 8 p.m. involving a West Wind 24 aircraft on a medEvac mission to Haneda, Japan.

According to a report by Ralph Obina of Super Radyo DZBB, the plane was a light aircraft with tail number RP-C5880. The civilian aircraft was about to take off at runway 24 when it caught fire.

A document secured by DZBB showed the aircraft was operated by Lion Air Inc.

Authorities have declared fire out.

Senator Richard Gordon, chairman of the Philippine Red Cross, said on Twitter there were eight passengers on board: a flight medic, nurse, doctor, three flight crew, one patient and its companion.

However, MIAA said the plane was carrying two passengers and six crew members.

A source told Stand For Truth reporter Shai Lagarde that the plane was supposed to be delivering medical supplies
