Where can I find the new service in Ehteraz App?

The "Pre-Registration System" is shown on the top of the application's opening screen. 

What is the purpose of this new service?

This new service is designed to:

• Facilitate the procedures for arrivals of those coming to Qatar

• Verify health requirements

• Determine quarantine or make prior-exemption from quarantine

Is it mandatory for all people entering Qatar?

The registration is currently optional. However, it brings more benefits to the passenger as explained below:

What are the advantages of using the service?

• It will speed up traveler's procedures upon entering the country so that the check-in is automated and verification will be processed automatically

• It will save those coming to Qatar more time to avoid overcrowding and waiting hours

How to register using the Pre-Registration System?

The registration process using the new service is easy. To register, simply follow these steps:

1. Create a username and password. Note: The email and password are specific to the applicant of the service.

2. Receive the activation message with ease.

3. Enter the data required to register.

Can I register on behalf of my family?

The traveler can apply to one of his family members traveling on the same flight, but the decision of each traveler is taken separately based on the requirements and documents that are submitted.

What data is required to register?

The data required for registration for the citizen and resident include:

1. Personal number

2. Passport number and nationality (for GCC citizens)

3. Visa number (for visitors)

What are the other documents required to be attached upon registration?

• A copy of the GCC passport (for GCC citizens)

• A valid negative PCR test result from laboratories approved by health authorities within 72 hours from the date of arrival

• A vaccination certificate issued by the competent authorities in the country of arrival (for those who have fully received the vaccine)  

• A hotel reservation from "Discover Qatar" website (for those who are subject to hotel quarantine)

• A certificate of recovery from COVID-19 disease issued by the approved health authorities in the country of arrival (for those infected and recovered within a period not exceeding 9 months)
