MoPH: Qatar’s active Covid-19 cases crosses 10,000 on March 3

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today stated that there are 471 new and active cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) in the region. Among them, 332 people have recovered from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, which brings the total number of people recovered from the virus to 154,752 in Qatar.
Out of the new cases of 471 reported, 427 are community cases and 44 have contracted the virus due to their travel from abroad. An elderly aged person died due to Covid-19, which takes the total death toll to 260.
Qatar’s total number of positive Covid-19 cases reported is 165,071 and there are 10,059 active cases under treatment.
 
 
The number of people tested for the first time in last 24 hours is 6,337 (10,575 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,557,031 tests.
There are 89 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours taking the total number of patients in the hospital to 749.
Eight were admitted to intensive care in the last 24 hours, and so 110 people continue to receive medical attention in ICU.
