Oishi Sushi

 Japanese Cuisine. Oishi Sushi is a hidden little gem in the corner of the 2nd floor of the Royal Plaza. Walking past, you could e forgiven for thinking Oishi Sushi was just your average sushi restaurant, with little charm- but as soon as you step though the curtains into the restaurant itself and have tasted your first bite, you’d know this was something a little special. The décor is trendy and contemporary—and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a spot of dirt in there, but it’s the food that really makes this place shine. Order something from the grill and the chefs will happily put on a show juggling with spatulas and spices, while they cook your dish. Don’t be fooled into thinking Japanese food is just sushi- a mere taste of the Kobe beef and you’ll never want a rump steak again! We look forward to a lot more places like Oishi Sushi popping up all over town in the coming years!
