Located in the Mercure, the décor of The Old Manor Steakhouse resembles an old gentlemen’s private club. With bookshelves, oil paintings and leather seating it’s a restaurant to go to if you’re in need of a relaxed environment over some good quality steak, even if it is in need of a bit of a refurbishment. With various cuts of steak available and chefs who seem to know how to cook a good medium-rare it’s ideal for those wanting to spend a night with friends without the fuss of a 5 star hotel. You're not going to get a gourmet steak meal at this place, the foods more ‘pub grub’ than Michelin starred, but the thing we loved most about The Old Manor Steakhouse though is its value for money– good, honest food, for a good honest price.
