If you're looking for a place to 'get away', relax or socialise with friends, then the Shisha Garden at La Cigale is just your place. Newly opened in late 2010, it's soon becoming a great alternative to Souq Waqif to indulge in some Lebanese food and fruit flavoured shishas! With plants and a giant water feature, the atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful. In the summer months, there is an automatic spray that gently sprays out water from the ceiling, helping to keep everyone cool. The food was good, very good infact - if and we say if, you are into Lebanese and Arabic food. If you're not a fan, then best not dine here as there is no alternative cuisine type. The 'habba' - spicy potatoes were nice, though we would have liked them to be a bit more spicy - the swarma's were delicious though. They were not greasy like swarma's can tend to be - instead fresh ingredients were packed into the home made bread. The shisha's themselves were excellent though expensive - 50QR for one shisha is a lot in our opinion. The service was fantastic also - our shisha was topped up with more coal when it was running out, drinks were served promptly and the staff were welcoming and efficient. Overall, the Shisha Garden is a good place to unwind from the day in a more up-market place - only time will tell if it sets Doha alight!
