Wahm Bar

 Located in the chic W Hotel in West Bay, its hard to find much fault with the Wahm Bar. Its ’east meets west’ style is a perfect addition to the up and coming Doha night life, creating a stylish environment, with a salute to its Arabic location. The inside is made up of ’booths’ with sofas, barstools and small tables with splashes of orange pink sand yellows- whereas the outside comprises of a number of private modern Arabic styled booths, set around a central pool. The bar / restaurant offers a unique menu, with a good choice of original dishes, as well as their own take on traditional bar food. We visited on a busy evening and considering the bar was packed, we found the service to be very good, with our food arriving within 20 minutes of ordering. The food itself was fantastic, but it was the finishing touches such as the ’caviar and eggplant dip’ that really made the meal. Its not a cheap place to eat or drink, but its often packed out on an evening and with everything it has to offer, its not hard to see why. our top tip? Try the black truffle mayo, a speciality of the W.
